چکیده
We demonstrate the generation of a trapped ion oscillator having large oscillation amplitude $16.9~{\rm \mu m}$. Applying an offset voltage to trap electrode helped achieve displacement center within time scale 5 ns. The fluorescence dynamics were analyzed after estimate amplitude. realized is one order magnitude larger than that achieved in previous work. Thus, this result important step toward realization gyroscope using single ion.

Generation of large coherent states by bang–bang control of a trapped-ion oscillator
Fast control of quantum systems is essential to make use of quantum properties before they degrade by decoherence. This is important for quantum-enhanced information processing, as well as for pushing quantum systems towards the boundary between quantum and classical physics. 'Bang-bang' control attains the ultimate speed limit by making large changes to control fields much faster than the syst...
متن کاملSingle trapped ion as a time-dependent harmonic oscillator
We show how a single trapped ion may be used to test a variety of important physical models realized as time-dependent harmonic oscillators. The ion itself functions as its own motional detector through laserinduced electronic transitions. Alsing et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 94, 220401 2005 proposed that an exponentially decaying trap frequency could be used to simulate thermal Gibbons-Hawking radi...
متن کاملSingle-cycle radio-frequency pulse generation by an optoelectronic oscillator.
We demonstrate experimentally passive mode-locking of an optoelectronic oscillator which generates a single-cycle radio-frequency pulse train. The measured pulse to pulse jitter was less than 5 ppm of the round-trip duration. The pulse waveform was repeated each round-trip. This result indicates that the relative phase between the pulse envelope and the carrier wave is autonomously locked. The ...

15 صفحه اولA Current-Mode Single-Resistance-Controlled Oscillator Employing VDCC and All Grounded Passive Elements
Realization of a novel single-resistance-controlled oscillator, employing an active element and all grounded passive elements, is the purpose of this manuscript. With requirements for completing the design being only a single Voltage Differencing Current Conveyor and four grounded passive components, it is also a preferable choice for integrated circuit implementation. The designed circuit has ...
